01 Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for Cubin, the software provided by Synergetiq OI Inc (“Cubin,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to this policy.
02 Free trial
We offer a 7-day free trial so you can evaluate Cubin before paying. No credit card is required to start the trial. Unless you choose to subscribe to a paid plan, your access ends when the trial period expires — you will not be charged automatically at the end of a no-card trial.
Because the free trial lets you fully evaluate the Service before committing, we encourage you to use it to decide whether Cubin is right for your business.
03 Subscriptions & auto-renewal
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, monthly or annually) according to the plan and billing cycle you select at checkout. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor.
Unless you cancel, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle, and your payment method is charged for the next cycle at the then-current price. We will give reasonable notice of any price change before it takes effect at your next renewal.
04 How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- From your account, in the Billing settings; or
- By emailing us at support@cubin.app from the email address associated with your account.
To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, cancel before your current cycle ends. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not, by itself, trigger a refund for the current cycle (see Section 6).
05 After you cancel
When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the billing cycle you have already paid for, and you keep access to your paid features until then. At the end of that cycle, your subscription will not renew and your access to paid features ends. We do not charge you again after cancellation.
You are responsible for exporting any data you wish to keep before your access ends. Handling of your data after cancellation is described in our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
06 Refunds
Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or periods during which you did not use the Service.
Because we offer a free trial that lets you evaluate Cubin before paying, charges for a billing cycle that has already begun are generally not refunded. When you cancel, you simply will not be billed for future cycles.
We may, at our discretion, consider a refund in exceptional circumstances — for example, a duplicate charge or a confirmed billing error on our part. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@cubin.app within a reasonable time and we will review it.
07 Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails or an amount is overdue, we may suspend or limit your access until payment is received. If payment cannot be collected, we may cancel your subscription. Suspension or cancellation for non-payment does not relieve you of amounts already owed.
08 Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits or removes any rights you may have that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection law, including in Saskatchewan, Canada. Where such law requires a refund or other remedy, we will honor it.
09 Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email. Changes apply to billing cycles that begin after the change takes effect.
